Mamaw and Papaw.
We had such a nice week with Mamaw and Papaw! I love it that my fear never came true. I was always worried that my babies wouldn't know their Mamaw and Papaw because of the distance and that it would either take them a good day to warm up to them, or even cry when he saw them. I love it that just watching Breck interact with his Mamaw and Papaw, you'd never know they live four hours away from us! Breck totally knows them and doesn't even need a few minutes to warm up. He instantly lights up when he sees them. What a blessing Skype is. Breck frequently ran to Mamaw or Papaw throughout the week to cuddle or hold his arms up for them to pick him up. He truly seemed to want them more than me. I know that just melted them.
We went to church with Mamaw and Papaw, got to visit Papaw's newly renovated office, helped Mamaw get some things done at Grandma and Grandpa GG's house, visited a few times with Uncle Greg and Aunt Donna, and spent some time with Uncle Aaron, Aunt Holly, Dylan and Brody!

Breck spent some quality time digging into Papaw's tools and working right along side Papaw.
Visiting Papaw's new office space. This was the first time Breck has actually been able to walk up a flight of stairs by himself because this case in particular had rungs for him to hold on to. He was quite proud when he made it to the top!
His new office was GORGEOUS. They were forced to relocate about, oh I have no idea, 100 yards North because of a round-about being built at the original location. So the state paid to move the house. They put the house up on jacks and literally moved the house in tact back to the new location. The company then added on, remodeled, but in keeping with most of the original structure. It's beautiful, and so much more roomy!

Thank goodness for Mamaw trimming the boy's nails while Daddy was two-thousand miles away. Cuz heaven knows Momma's not gonna do it, for fear of accidentally snipping Breck's finger instead. It happened once, and it can't happen again. Just the thought of doing it makes my palms damp! That's a job for Daddy or Mamaw. :)

We saw Aunt Holly, Uncle Aaron, Dylan and Brody several times throughout the week. It never seems like enough though! Dylan and Breck sure have this thing for each other! Dylan is so very good and gentle with Breck and you can tell Breck just adores Dylan!

Auntie and Uncle!
It was great to see Uncle Greg and Aunt Donna a few times while we were home! They actually gave Breck his very first pop-sicle! I have a picture of it somewhere from Mom's iphone, I'll have to post it later! Thank goodness Mom got this on her phone, because I kept showing up places without my camera.
Sister, hairstylist.
No one can cut and style my hair like Sister can. So I've resigned myself to come to terms with the fact that my "hair lady" will just have to be four hours away, because I can't bring myself to get a different stand-in one. She's good. Holly had me come in one night after hours so she could do my hair. I got a shampoo, massage, cut, and style... and we were the only two in the entire salon. Can I just say how nice it was to spend time with just her!? We love our babies, but man when we're all together, it's a rare happening if Holly and I have time to just be alone or talk for that matter. We thoroughly enjoyed the quiet only interupted by shampoo suds and blow dryer gusts.

Dear Friends.
Mamaw and Papaw had some plans Monday, so we spent the evening at David, Lori, and Gilli's house! Oh, how we love them! I wish we could spend an entire week with them... they are such wonderful people. And I just love how they love on my little ones. As soon as we walked in the door they were baring gifts for both of my babies! Breck got a new set of Krinkle toys and Little Miss got a new ruffled pink onesie, precious girly socks, and adorable little bows for her hair! Can't wait to put them in her hair!
They made us a fabulous dinner and dessert. One of my favorite things about dinner was that Lori said she wanted to try to fix something "punchy" to drink so she just dumped a bunch of things together and made her own concoction! It was sooo good too! Black Cherry Jello powder, some Sprite, orange juice, and a little water! Yum! I've already made it for BrettRyan since we've been home and he loved it too! It gets these little jello bubbles that form in the bottom and float around and actually look really pretty!

Thank goodness for the wagon occupying B, because we found time to do a mini photo shoot. Because, Heaven knows this lady's gonna be an author someday. She's getting recognized this fall out West, and needed a face shot. We got a few! Not too hard with such a pretty model.
Old, but good, Co-worker Friends.
Love these ladies. Breck, Dylan and I met up with Roseann for brunch at Panera, then went across the street to Calico Corners to surprise all of my old co-workers! Last time I saw them I was planning a fall 2008 wedding and getting ready to make my big move to Michigan. So much has happened since then. So it was pretty cool to see their faces when I walked in with my sixteen month old baby, and clearly one on the way! The most precious thing was Doadie (not pictured here) said, "We miss you, Amber. We really do. It's just not the same without you, and we talk about you all of the time!" How flattering! To think after all this time, they still feel that way. These ladies were so fun to work with! And I do miss them too! (Thank goodness that Dyl joined us because he played peek-a-boo around walls of bolted fabric so that I could catch up with the ladies! )

Highschool Friends.
We stopped by for a few minutes to see Mommy's friend, Wendell and his parents. Breck fell in love with them and they had him laughing so hard he was out of breath. It was precious! Wendell played a few tunes for the boy, and the boy got to show of a few moves.
Before we headed out of town, we met up with Momma's good friends from high school Lauren and Stefanie for brunch at Blu Moon Cafe! We loved seeing Auntie Lauren as always! I hadn't seen Stefanie in eight years and it was so very good to catch up with her! So proud of Stef... she and her husband are incredibly talented and successful photographers now! Check her work out HERE! Love these girls. In between Breck trying to run back into the kitchen and escape out the front door we were able to a picture on Stefanie's phone. Wish I had taken my darn glasses off, but oh well... glad we got it!
