Somebody's a crawlin'!
(Please excuse the lack of baseboards, excessive paint drippings, and dust under the door... nice. Real nice! I'm getting up as soon as I publish this to go mop!)
Yeah, yeah... I know he's just a few days shy of his nine month birthday, and most babies start crawling at about six months, but we enjoyed the stationary baby he was as long as we had him! He never had the desire to crawl because he preferred to examine, and observe, and just take everything in. I guess he's decided he's examined for nine months long enough and it's time to EXPLORE! And even though he's crawling, he still very Breck in his approach to crawling. Gentle, cautious, and sweet. :)

Not sure where time has gone and how we've all the sudden jumped from rattles and mobiles, to legos and dump-trucks? But my baby is getting so big and loving his new big boy toys! We've been realizing it's time to get some toys that are a little more advanced and out of that "infant" stage. He sure is enjoying the Legos Daddy brought home for him! This morning was his first time playing with them. He LOVED them. He would pick up every piece and examine it and throw it down after about two seconds to pick up another one that caught his eye. He even put a few of them in his dump truck and pushed his truck around a little... like he knew exactly what to do with them! What a big boy he is!

Ps. We think we've got some uppers trying to pop through those sore gums... maybe one of these days Breck will let Mommy get a picture of those pearly whites on the bottom!
