Tonight when I came downstairs from putting Breck to bed, I found this. Mmmm. Hot cocoa with peppermint syrup, a few dollops of Cool Whip, garnished with a peppermint candy. My honey made it for me and I drank every last drop (which if you know me, is a feat)! It was delightful having my senses on Christmas overload tonight... from the menthol lingering thanks to the peppermint cocoa, to the sweet holly candles and musky pine oils dusting the air with their aromas, to the soft glow of Christmas lights peeping from every corner of the house. See those twinkle lights in the background? I have plenty pictures of those coming up! The halls are decked, here at the Buckingham household, and we're loving it! :)
