[ uneventful post . just the way i like them ]

I have this desire to be a mom who blogs about her children... every other day. Writing down the every day things that her children do-never overlooking a single detail. Sometimes I get consumed with blogging about the big events or holidays in our life that the photos seem to snow ball into the biggest post with most photos. Dishes, and cooking, and cleaning, and laundry all take priority over blogging about my babies, but today... I come with a short post. Just the way I like them... short and sweet, with a few photos to document our every day. What our day looks like so that I can look back when the kids are old and grown with little ones of their own and I can remember what our day to days were like. This post, I'm not going to lie, is just to talk about how adorable my kids are. I know every other parent in the world thinks their kids are the coolest kids ever, and I'm no different. My kids just amaze me every day...

This little boy? Has an imagination I've never seen before in a child his age. It's so amusing to watch him play. This morning, my mind was heavily focused on a task my hands were busy working on, and I hear him dragging something across the floor and saying "hebby, hebby,"  his word for heavy. Then I looked up to see him crouched behind a fully engaged tripod, swinging the handle around, as if he was doing some high pressure adjusting of his "cameron" (camera) and declaring "Cheeeese Mommy, cheeeese!" So I got my cameron out, and he soaked up the fact that we were taking photos of each other taking photos. This continued for about fifteen minutes. I love my little boy so much... he brings humor to our household every day. Lately he's repeating anything we ask him to say, and everything we do say. He's even beginning to finally sing along with songs that we've been singing to him for months now. :) It's so fun to watch him learn!

He was saying "hebby" in the photo on the left.

And this little one? Well, I don't think the stereotype of second-children-just-don't-get-photographed-as-much-as-the-first-born-child can be applicable to her! Her sweetness is just exudes all over her. Breck is a sweet kid, but she is just girly sweet. The past few days I've noticed when she gets excited or when you catch her eye and flirty smile with her, she smiles with a smile that consumes her entire body... she clinches her fists tight, if she had teeth, she would bite down on them, and her entire body shivers. It's SO stinking precious!

Photo on the left: her signature trademark... holding her hands.
She holds her hands all of the time and it's precious! Her Grandma GG did this quite often too. :)

Mommy and Daddy love you Breck and Adelaide! You have no idea how much joy you bring us, and you will not fully understand that joy until one day you have a child of your own! It's true! Papaw used to tell Mommy that all the time, and now I understand what he meant, because I have you. Babies, Mommy loves you so much, and I am so blessed to have you. You're a gift from God, and Mommy and Daddy take that very seriously. We realize you are ultimately from Him, and we pray that you grow up to love and follow your Heavenly Father!

Love, Mama

Ps. Off to get ready for two other kiddos today. I'm babysitting for another little two year old and a three month old... so two - two year olds, a seven month old, and a three month old - all by myself... we'll see how this goes! :) Should be fun!
