Jen and Turner's wedding was beautiful. It was right on the Grand Traverse Bay.... the weather was beautiful and just perfect for a wedding! Jen was a beautiful bride and I'm in love with her dress. To die for.
After the wedding, they had servers walking around constantly with trays of gourmet hors d'oeuvres and a plethora of pretty cocktails while the wedding party was getting their pictures taken. And the reception was beautiful and perfect as ever. Not a single flaw.
Saturday, BrettRyan and I had so much fun just wondering around the marina, coming across some sweet finds at the farmer's market, having lunch down town, and browsing Traverse City, the Cherry capitol of the world! How COOL is that!? And I am still so smitten by the amounts of bodies of water in Michigan. I just gets me... the beauty that is right here. Feels like Florida, but it's Michigan. LOVE it that the farthest you have to go to feel like you're on vacation is the closest lake, which isn't far when you're in the Great Lakes State!
I was obsessed with these beautiful peonies on the back of this bike at the farmer's market!
This place had the most de-li-cious carmels. Ooooooh, yum.
We shared the most tasty lunch at The Green House Cafe downtown. Traverse City Reuben: sliced lean corned beef, our homemade cherry kraut, covered with provolone cheese, grilled on light rye. Plus a side of creamy asparagus parmesan soup. De-lightful.
The boy stole the camera and took this...
So, ditto.
This picture pretty much hurts the eyes because I came out blurry and the railing is in focus, but I love how it shows the shape of our little sweetie. Plus, it's the only picture I got of my maxi dress, which BR was IN LOVE with.
I'm in love with Traverse City. Can't wait to go back sometime!
