[ this weeks loves ]

This happened yesterday. Cue: melting heart.
It's been happening more frequently lately... Breck will crawl up into my lap and let me rock him while I'm feeding Adelaide. We've even mastered nursing, rocking, cuddling, and reading books all at the same time!

I love to watch him love his sister.

You can usually see my water bottle within an arms reach of me at all times. I carry it EVERY where and drink a bazillion ounces of water a day. We've realized lately that after five months of watching me, Adelaide associates it with me. When she sees my water bottle, she nearly attacks it. No joke: she can drink out of it too! Not a fluke... it's the truth. My five month old has mastered the straw, even though she's breast-fed!

(Thanks for the pictures Daddy.
Mommy confiscates Daddy's iPhone all of the time now to use Instagram)

Might just be one of our favorite pictures of her in all of time.

We enjoyed a little bath-time artwork this week! The only challenge we had to master was resisting the urge to eat the shaving cream because Breck kept mistaking it for something sweeter.

Breck's feet are irresistibly edible when they are bare, but when he has these socks on... they are triply irresistible. There is just something about those navy and red stripes that I can't get enough of!

Tired boy...

Love my real-life baby doll! I swear she's already into girly things... she's attracted to shiny things; She notices and plays with my jewelry all of the time!

Daddy spied a deal online for a portable karaoke machine for Breck.  It auto-tunes your voice which makes for a very interesting song coming from a two year old. We love hearing him sing in it... makes us laugh every time! He does this thing where he will sing a string of Laa, Laa's and Lou, Lou's. Then he'll start throwing in names of family members! It's so funny!

Here's a video of him doing his thing...
(Be sure to pause the music at the bottom, first!)
(FYI... I can't stand the almost-country-song that plays on the machine in this video.
I don't do country!)

An amazing day for Mama is when crafting dominates nap time! It happened this week! Two hours of quiet, and a retreat down into my craft room! I come away feeling so inspired and there is nothing like having a new throw pillow and heart bunting for Valentines Day to spruce things up and make the living room feel fresh. Love!

I had a chance to craft some hair accessories for Lou during that nap too!

Love Sunday evening family walks!

Breck was completely enthralled with pulling Adelaide in the wagon. So much so, he got so upset at me if he saw me trying to push it and help him along! He'd demand that I stop pushing.

The only way we could convince Breck to ride along instead of steer, was to tell him how cold Adelaide was and that she needed Daddy to pull faster. She truly was cold, and getting sick of the Bumbo, and he gave in!

Loved this weekend and having Daddy home!
Looking forward to spending Valentines Day with him off of work too!
