[ there is more than corn ]

Funny how details can be taken for granted and go unnoticed when you are surrounded by them every day. When I lived in Indiana, I kinda took for granted that cool vintage little biplanes regularly went for spins above our house and took off and landed at a small airport just in back of my parents house. I didn't notice their big yard to run and play in until my baby took advantage of it. And then there is the incredible rate of which the corn grows in Indiana. In June when I was there, it was maybe eight inches high, and by the time we visited this trip (end of July) it was well over my head. Just funny when you see things from a new perspective and notice things in a way you never did before when they aren't around you to see every day.

We went down the last weekend in July to visit my family. Lucky for us, Daddy's work called him to the Convention Center in Indy for a college fair. And we got to see Mamaw, Papaw, and the entire gang out of the deal!

Soon after we arrived, Breck, Brody, and Dyl were treated to a little air show. This biplane made figure-eights around my parents' property for about a half hour. Breck was in Heaven, to put it simply!

Love this lil Brobro face!

This was the smile he gave me when I asked for one!

Oooo so scary! :)

I caught these two catting it up in Mamaw's kitchen... just the two of them. Talking jabber that only they understood. There was pointing involved, followed by crawling under the table. (Breck totally has mastered saying "Bro-bo" and "Dylan!" It's SO CUTE!)

This boy loves to use his imagination when he talks on the phone. Whether it's Mamaw's iPhone or the ancient hotel room phone with a three foot cord, he loooves to talk on the phone. I have NO idea, by the way, how he knew what the hotel phone even was! He's never seen a phone like that!

My little tired boy. Can't believe he's so close to being a BIG brother!

Oh - how these two love each other! Breck is just completely smitten by Dylan! He calls him by name ("Dee" or "Dyl" or even sometimes he gets the entire thing out and says "Deeelan") and he cries BIG huge crocodile tears if Dylan leaves his sight. There have been a few times once we're back home and if we're watching home videos and Breck sees Dylan on the video... he flips out, laughs, squeals, and says "Deee" over and over! It's spurred a few spontaneous Skype calls with Dylan because he loves him that much!

Me and my sissy! I so want a Adelaide to have a sister some day. That desire is inspired solely, by this beautiful lady right here. :) While I'm on the topic of her... can I just say she is such the cool Aunt! She's already spoiled the little Laidey. She got her two super cute outfits, purple shoes that tie around the ankle - yes, I said tie-around-the-ankle! She also bought her some of her very own (and first) nail polish!!! Two shades! And she made her some super super cute hair clips! Can't wait to put them in her hair. I'm assuming she's gonna come out with a head-full like her big brother did!

Right before we left to come down on this trip, Breck also mastered saying "Papaw!" and "Poppa!" He's doing such a good job at trying to say everything! We're working on the "Mamaw" and "Grammy" words next! :) By the way! He has started calling me "Momma Momma Mommma" or sometimes he just - plain and simple says "Mom" it almost has a "u" sound in there like "Mum" but it's short and sweet! :) (Not sure where Breck is looking in this picture, but it was cute of Mamaw and Papaw!)

Good job taking this picture, Dylan Michael!

That's all for now! I'm super late in my blogging this post... just haven't been feeling it lately. Not sure why. I barely took any pictures in Indiana and I just have felt like soaking up life instead of capturing it on the camera I guess. :) Will get back into the swing of it soon I suppose... when ever the urge comes back. Gotta take some belly pictures today... 35 weeks yesterday! HARD to believe! I thought my pregnancy with Breck went fast, but it was nothing compared to how fast this one is flying! I wish time would slow down a bit so I can enjoy these last few weeks of just her and I... feeling her move inside of me. What a mir.a.cle! :)

Ps. Nana Anna (Breck calls her "Naaa") was blowing bubbles for Breck this morning and he said "Bubb-le!" It. was. so. so. cute!

Pss. Breck is napping right now, but after I laid him down, I peeked back in his room and he was sitting up in his bed, pulling back his curtains, and pulling the blinds away from the window so he could look outside! It was too cute! I waited a few seconds then stuck my head around the door and said "Breck, you need to lay down and go ni-night" It definitely startled him, because he jumped and immediately laid back down in his bed and grabbed Bearpo. I pretended to close the door, waited a few, then peeked again. There he was... sitting back up on his pillow, peeking outside. HA! Funny you don't have to teach these kids to be sneaky. :)
